Venserpolder, the short film project by Ashar Medina & Teddy Cherim is selected for KORT! 2019. KORT! is the annual Dutch short film project. Each year 10 short films are selected by a commission of the Netherlands Film Fund, the NPO Fund and the NTR. The films will premier during the Netherlands Film Festival 2019 and will later be broadcasted by the NTR.
Venserpolder tells a story about Williams, selfmade king of a cleaning company in Venserpolder and crown prince of a Ghanaian tribe, who is forced to leave everything behind and take his responsibility as heir to the throne after the death of his father.
Besides doing the title designs for the film, I was also asked to do the motion graphics for the commercial within the short film. These are in the style of Salto TV commercials.
